Revo intake/air filter

hi all recently bought a k1 and was looking to get some kind of a grunt from it as it is unbelievably quiet until it goes on boost
i was looking up the revo intake

was just wondering if anyone has had it fitted on there leon? its very similar looking to the ITG but i think it looks neater and better made, the only thing is it is quite expensive can get a miltek cat back for a few ££ extra

I have the Revo intake fitted to my LCR and I think it is the business, you can hear it sucking like its life depends on it when you touch the accelerator and the noise it makes when you give it the beans does make me smile!!
The miltek is also very good, sounds great without sounding like you have a hole in your back box lol

Lol it is expensive but the write up on its website makes it sound like its worth it like the gain over its nearest competitor would really like to know who that is whethers its itg or forge im guessing?
G7 did u fit the exhaust or the filter first which were u more satisfied with the end results?

I went from stock to Revo 2+, Revo induction kit and full Miltek with sports cat on the same day, so it was a massive change for me, I was very happy with the results!

how does it sound compared to stock system under normal driving conditions? does the exhaust drone, or make much of an increase in noise?

has the OP thought about a neuspeed p flo?

The exhaust note is definitely deeper! But I don’t really hear a difference when driving through town.
The Revo induction kit makes a much more noticeable change to the sound inside the car, as soon as you accelerate (even at low speeds) you hear the flow really increasing and it just sings at you when you open her up.

ive looked at all possibilities tonto the ITG Forge and this one look to be the best but i think this one looks the part, there are a few s3's runing them there also giving them high praises, dunno if it would mabe be worth organising a group buy if revo would take the price down? guess it wouldnt hurt to ask
