has anyone managed to make the interior as good as the exterior? i get a lot of critics pointing out the dullness of the interior and they do have a point i guess...

You could get the Optional interior trim kit, in silver plastic it brightens it up a little or perhaps get the grab handles wrapped in piano black?

Double din stereo and arm rest. This is what I've done so far and just the 2 things have made a world of difference!

I'm also going to do: foot rest cover (to match pedals)
LED lighting
Spray certain bits of interior black and red (to match car)

I think doing all those bits together will completely tranform a pretty w*nk interior :D

No chance of LED's in the cabin for me, the OEM bulbs are bright enough!

I want an armrest and either some front leather seats from a scrappers (if I ever find any) or a re-trim (effort!)

the leather door inserts are nice too and improve the cabin. i want an armrest as well but was quoted £210 from swindon seat which seemed way too steep

yepp getting the double din and wrapped the fascia in black so it blends in; personally i think it looks much better than the grey.

you have the grey seats? i can imagine it looking good with grey seats. how much did it cost you if you dont mind me askin

Yeah grey seats :)

And only a tenner I think, I just bought a can of primer and a can of silver! I can't remember if I lacquered to or not, I think I did.

Either way, it's a lot cheaper than the kit from SEAT :)

definately doing that over the summer! :D

On the subject of upgrading the courtesy/map reading lights, how do you remove the rear roof passenger light unit? I want to replace the bulbs. Is it the clear bit you remove, or the whole unit? My son has a Leon 1.4TSi Sport with front and rear courtesy lights.

Managed to do the front ones no problem. That was just a case of carefully removing the plastic cover to reveal the bulbs underneath.
