Ignore the blip at 3k rpm to around 3750 rpm
This is an on going issue with my car and was apparant before the remap, i've logged it loads on vcds and tried numerous things but from 3k to 3750rpm my car is underboosting by around 0.2 bar so has an annoying flat spot
But it comes on song again and eventually perks up
Im going to take the turbo off as im certain its either a leaking actuator or my previous vane cleaning hasnt worked 100%

Cruise control
Re-newed vacuum lines with some free hydraulic hose from work
And did something really stupid! Fitted a k+n open cone. Actually pulls a bit better and doesnt sound too bad for a derv. Used a boost guage adaptor i had sitting about to plumb in the vacuum feed
Sorry I didn't get back to you about that filter I just forgot, I've got a boost gauge tap spare so I'm going to do the same I think, what I/d are those pipes you used to replace vacuum pipes?

Oil and filter change
And decided to have a shot of fitting an under the driveshaft front arb instead of my over the driveshaft one that likes to knock over bumps!
Put this job off for months but it was actually easy peasy!
Also lowered the front another 4 threads and fitted my superpro arb bushes
Before (over driveshaft)
After (under driveshaft)
Lowered 4 turns
New drop links (this is where my old octy kw's come in as i have the mounting point on the strut
)
Then it was a reset the service indicator job..... Until another common VAG fault rears its head! So off i go for another new part - green coolant temp sensor
Quick wash and hoover and my day is done!
No more faults / banging over bumps of riding high

Larger vac hoses are 8mm (i think dont quote me)
Smaller ones are defo 3mm (i used 4mm and were a bit loose)
Aah cheers, I was going to use blue ones but I have a lot of blue now lol. I think just a blue tip will do me now. Car looks good after a polish, that roof!!

Yeah i paid £30 for it brand new
A lad i know bought it but didnt know how to fit it so i took it off his hands! Wouldnt pay the £50 they are from seat :O
