I've already upgraded my handbrake to a golf mk4 leather one, but trying to get my hands on a tt Quattro sport alcantra one, to match my seats, but the only one is £140! So the vrs one will do! Ill sell the mk4 golf one as a unit

Decided to improve handling a bit more

Wanted to uprate wishbone bushes and refused to pay Powerflex £80 for them so took a gamble on flo-flex! And imo they are just as good as powerflex. Got front and rear wishbone bushes for a nice £28 delivered! They make a fantastic difference

Also finally got my 2nd hand neuspeed 28mm rarb on! Will paint it in the summer

They are amazing! Im not joking! Teamed up with my kw coils and the bushes etc this car handles awesomely!

You wont be dissapointed with a rarb thats for sure! Extra 10-20mph cornerinh speed



Well cars book for cruise control retro-fit and a remap next friday! Cant wait! Might also get a miltek decat if i can stretch to it

Looks good mate I love the cruise control makes long drives relaxing I find I drive slower with it. Iv been toying with a remap would be good to hear how you get on with it clutch wise and fuel.

Clutch couldnt take awesomes spikey map so i wasnt best pleased so they de-tuned it slightly. So now no slip. I've vcds'd it and torque is 290lb/ft which is about what i wanted!

Rolling road next weekend so will know more then

Got 56mpg on the way there at a solid 70mph with my right foot
On way back i got 49mpg at 80mph with the cruise control so probably equates to about the same overall mpg

I would highly recommend if your considering a remap to go to shark performance and pay extra for a custom map and specify the exact perameters you want. Cheap maps are cheap for a reason. Thats my 2p anyways.

Yea the sprite bottle is a temporary catch can for the crank case

I have been too tight to buy more 19mm hose and didnt have enough to vent to atmosphere! This has been rectified today though

Re-newed vacuum lines with some free hydraulic hose from work

And did something really stupid! Fitted a k+n open cone. Actually pulls a bit better and doesnt sound too bad for a derv. Used a boost guage adaptor i had sitting about to plumb in the vacuum feed

Whats that blue stuff round your tip? Also, whats the vacuum hose for? Mine is just dangling lol

Its just a replacement hose... Had it sitting in my shed for years...

That vacuum hose is the feed for all your cars vacuum system. I.e turbo actuator, anti shuuder valve, egr valve

I would get a breather filter for the end of it!

I have one that im not using. I could send you it? Pm me

Is it a hose in the actual tip, or the one that fits on the airbox when it's fitted?
