I'm a field service engineer for the one of the largest telecoms companies in the world. We cover a big area from Carlisle, out to the coast, down to Manchester/Liverpool, even further down to Stoke and across all of North Wales.

Full time firefighter for the ministry of defence and also retained firefighter for North Yorkshire fire and rescue, keeps me out of trouble!

It's a good thread because no matter what job you do everyone's Job is important in life -without people having different skills then we wouldn't be where we are now ;)

I'm a vehicle mechanic in the Royal Air Force. Work on all sorts of kit from land rovers and trailors to articulated trucks, aircraft refuellers and fire engines. Love my job!

Do you work on those Mahooosive tank-transported trucks? Went past a convoy of about 8-10 of them on the M4 in South Wales last weekend, awesome things! Dread to think what the GPM (gallons per mile) those things do!
