Hi all cleaned my car and noticed places on my alloys feel rough and some places are smooth I usually clean alloys with a fresh bucket of bodywork shampoo so im a little confused to what could of caused it is it worth polishing them.

I would suggest claying them first it may just be a build up of dirt. Depending on how often they are washed washing alone will not stop that happening.

If its over 3 years then they probably won't do anything anyway as there's no warranty. However, if they do, I'd imagine they wouldn't replace the wheel - it would probably be sent to be refurbished.

Did you buy it new?

If not they will just tell you they have been refurbished to a poor standard.

I'm going to ring seat uk and see what they say I know it's not in warrenty but it on the inside. My answer will be how often do you take your wheels off and see the inside.

Went in yesterday to seat for them to take pics. Seat uk called me to say they will receive them and look into it. Hopefully they will get done before the 7th. The technician reckons I will be getting them.

Looks like they will be getting a refurb!
Something is better than nothing.
