Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust. And looking through some of the Reader Rides it appears that a Milltek Exhaust is the way to go. However I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at, so any advise would be great.

Many thanks

U will be looking a lot of money for a milltek system with next to no improvement. My recommendation would be to just get rid of any boxes in the exhaust. Mufflerectonomy it's called. Basically just creat a straight through pipe from the turbo back. Will be LOADS cheaper and u will see results!

Check out my readers ride. I have done this along with quite a few others

Right ok, it's not something I've ever heard of. Is it hard to do, can it be done at home? The only reason I'm looking at a new exhaust is because I am due to have a Revo Re-map?

I have a full milltek with decat on my K1 (centre fitting obviously)What would I need to get to fit a cat back onto it for MOT purposes in the future

would that fit straight on as direct replacement then bud

I think so, I'll have a search tomorrow to check, have you got the down pipe decat that goes straight into the join for the centre piece? Or a downpipe which enables you to have a sports cat?

ok great thanks not to sure I just know its a full milltek with decat which was on the car when I got it

i think you will have to buy the downpipe with sports cat on it, or you can get a sports cat and take it to somewhere that does custom exhausts etc and they can fit it in for you. all i can think of

Wouldn't touch a Milltek unless someone else was paying for it!
