i drilled the centre part of each bit i wanted to come out..then carefully with a stanley knife..i cut the edges right out.
took some time to do..but when i ran a side mount ic..i needed as much airflow as poss.

plus it makes it look better.

you can buy the kit plus fitting instructions from kufatec.

i bought the stalks from ebay..and the loom from kufatec..

only 6 wires to connect...but you have to make sure your control unit is 6Q1...as 6Q2 wont work.

Cheers for the help. How did you manage to check which module you have? Take it you've got vagcom to code them stalks.

just take the small cubby compartment out where the dianostic port is..theres a big black box there.

the code numbers are stamped on it..if they start with 6Q1..then you can code cruise control

and i have a mate who will code it for me..kufatec have a big backlog at mo..so looks like i wont get my loom till end of this week coming

take a look at my thread mate..theres pics in there.

but basically i found another ibiza that had the openers..took all the parts i needed..then transfered it into mine.

all i needed was the rivnuts to secure to the body,as once they are in..they are in for good.

cheers mate..i set a resrve on it so that will do for me...had soo many emails of deals its incredible.

and a mate activated the windows for me..along with the boot popper and alarm chirps..through vagcom

may have to try that with vagcom then i activated the lock chirp on mine.

well im open minded about another car..would like another derv....or maybe a clio 182..lol..

but we will see...as i dont think it will go on ebay..as its full of dreamers and waisters..

some people want to swap with their manky cars worth about 1k..lol...so it gets on my nervs after a while

yes mate..bmw lasted about 2 weeks or so..lovely car..loved a drink..lol

then bought a cheap golf tdi 150..

done a deal with that againsts a 05 plate passat..whicg=h is up for sale too.

plans are bmw330d m sport..so fingers crossed one will pop up soon

ive never been a big fan of bmw's myself till it took the 330 in a px for the ibiza.

and i loved it..apart from the fuel bill.

ill get a thread up when i decide what im going to do...one part of me is saying keep the passat.

2005 140 tdi sport..nice spec..goes well..great on fuel..cheap insurance..
