Best induction kits???

im looking to to get a induction kit for my 200bhp fr and was wondering whats best to get??

ive heard the..

Forge twin-take
Itg megaflow
Neuspeed P-flo Intake

are good yes/no ??

Do a search buddy as I recall seeing a thread whereby someone tested all three with the results....very helpful thread I recall.

The big review references above is quite old now I thinj. But out of all of them in that review the Forge TwinTake comes out overall best. After the ITG maxogen if I recall correctly.

This didn't include the P-Flo or Revo or GolfR intake we have these days

i have the neuspeed p-flo and made difference with my car and half price of most others (£200) would never justify paying £350+ for an air filter regardless of the gain if spending £400 on twintake may aswell just go get a remap for same price and get much much better gains

I wonder if the difference between a (shielded) p-flo and a twintake or ITG are such that its not worth the money unless you've got it to spend.

Word.
Would need to either have 4 identical cars, or pre and post runs. Granted the latter isn't fool proof either as a stg2 will show bigger gains percentage wise than a stock car

I'd suggest Stage2+ car use the same car for all the tests.

Also test stock airbox aswell

Good idea. Didn't think anybody could deal with the hassle of spending a day changing intakes and doing VCDS runs to measure flow.

How'd said person get their hands on 1300ish quid worth of intakes?

Induction kit swapping takes about 5 mins. Easy peasy getting the intakes

Would it be worth throwing a twintake in? Just because its quite popular (prob mostly for its looks)

I suppose it's a a lot quicker swapping an intake than swapping from stock
