Just been out tonight in my car and for some reason its not going into gear 1 and reverse easy feels like there something blocking it (even with abit of force still doesnt go in) but if you lift clutch up and put it back down twice it goes in a treat! Also it creeps forward in gear 1 every now and then with clutch down is that normal for diesel as other cars have been petrol so still getting clued up with it all!!

Sounds like your clutch is dragging which would explain the difficult first and reverse engagement. Either clutch pedel isnt getting depressed far enough or needs adjusting/bleeding.
I think you have a hydraulic problem with the clutch. Fingers crossed it's a worn slave cylinder but could be the master cylinder. If the seals go it requires pumping to fully move the piston in the cylinder because the fluid passes the seals.
I think the fluid for the clutch is shared by the brakes so if the fluid was low you would get a light on.

Only happens now and again so not sure what's going on still under warranty as only just brought it! Do I get it in and get it looked at or hang out and see what happens still got till February till the warranty runs out!
Get it looked at. explain whats wrong and let them deal with it. don't accept it back unless the fault is fixed
How will i no if clutch is on its way out? Car has done 100,000miles now thinking clutch is on its way out!!
Usual signs are it slipping when you boot it in higher gears 4+ which results in revs climbing without any acceleration. Is yours a petrol or diesel FR, if diesel will probably start slipping around 2k revs when the torque comes in strong.
I wouldn't think what you are describing is the actual clutch failing yet though.

Diesel fr 1.9 pd130 and no slipping at all in any gears! Just struggles with 1st and reserve every now and again
Actual clutch will ne fine then judt get the master and slave cylinders looked at the very least they could do is replace and bleed the fluid.
I'm with the slave or master cylinder theory. If it was clutch going then if anything it would be easier to go into gear. Natural position of the clutch is engaged (gripping) so if your not able to select a gear then the difficulty is in disengaging (releasing) the clutch.
An outside chance it's the pressure plate going but pumping the pedal wouldn't really do anything so my money is on something in the hydraulic system.
As said start with a bleed, then see if there are any leaks from the master cylinder, slave cylinder is in the bell housing so more difficult to spot a leak
