injectors and pump replacement

any help or advice appreciated

so I have an injector down and a leaky tandem pump

bought some second hand and now going to book into garage to fit for me

should I be buying new bits to fir the injectors ive seen bolts etc that may not be designed for multiple undo retighten etc

I would definitely buy some new stretch bolts as I had one snap in the head which was a complete ball ache to sort and while you have the injectors in your hand I would change the seals too.

are the seals something the garage can replace or send to a bosch place

if the tandem leak (LUK) is the outer cover and it's only "sweating" I would leave it; if dripping it could be a silicone or metal gasket type for the metal gasket type I'm using a Viton gasket which has held for some months (famous last words!!!) where other guaranteed fixes didn't cheers from the R&D dept

yes its been weaping for a while

i thought i was quids in when tps had seal kits for them and thought il teach the numpty at the stealers different

did think silicone but thought it might come apart and get into the fuel system
