Yea. So it's just SEAT and FR front and rear:

I probably would have left it if it was smaller, on the left and had the letters closer together.

Maybe they have stopped charging now, they deffo used to charge.

Was a zero cost option late 2007 when I ordered my 118D.

But in my opinion its only an option for muppets who are ashamed that they cannot afford the top spec model, bet they would not debadge that.

Ever seen an M3 debadged.

kettle of boiling water per badge poured slowly and mine just peeled straight off on the ibiza? take your time peeling them and the adhesive will peel off with the badges

A piece of fishing line is useful too, heat up glue with hot water or hair dryer and pass the line behind the badge up/down. Autoglymn Tar remover is useful to remove any residue too.

I'm confused... So the point of removing the Leon badge is that it is 'neater'... But somehow the FR badges are pretty enough to stay, lol. Can't have anyone thinking it's an SE, can we? ;-)

What were all those 280 owners thinking, asking Seat to clutter up their boot lids with messy badges!

I am not keen on a really sparse look either. Some take so many badges off their cars they look plain and unfinished, like a project still ongoing.

I removed the Megane lettering on my current car mainly due to kept catching wash mits. Much easier to wax with lettering removed. The cars look good posted here debadged, each to their own.

Yes, an E46! Probably someone who didn't wan't theirs mistaken for a 318i with the 'M sport' pack.

There's also a RS6 Avant near me which doesn't have any RS badging on it either.

Not a factory option but still available for a few moments work with thin wire, tar remover and detailing.
Probably better put back the Reg Plate but will use a plain, bordered style instead of the blue coloured GB EU logo and a huge dealer advert as supplied.
Did ask for no logo and border but was told No. I think it introduces another unnecessary colour (blue) which detracts.
Votes please: Hot or Not?
You took debadging to a whole new level; you even took the plate off!

I don’t think you’ll get any response / reaction from forum member @dephead2004 on this (7 years old) resurrected discussion thread as they haven’t been active on the forum since Jan 2020.
