Can also confirm this, im on a 63 plate FR with Garmin unit

However the total time travelled on the trip computer screen seemed to be a bit high, my journey is usually 20 mins and it was say 48, this was with the first journey of the day so it was on 0 when I set off, i'll check again later when I go home.

Love the turbo gauge hack on my Fr1.2 garmin, just wondering in the interest of completeness if any of the people smart with software could redesign the dials for the turbo so the scale is correct, remove the non working G force meter and edit the gear change image to show just 5 gears for the Fr, we would then have the ultimate garmin hack for fr owners :)

actually i think the boost reading might be correct i googled the engine 1.2tsi on wiki and it says max boost pressure 23.2 psi, so its a little inaccurate but not by that much, what i dont understand is why the gauge starts at 1 bar or 14 psi, surely when at idle there will be no bost as the turbo isnt spinning, or is it counting atmospheric pressure also?

Sadly no turboboy. Despite suggestions the thread has crept massively.

Whoever has been working on getting cupra gauges on lower spec models on Garmin devices it would be useful if you started a new thread with a guide/hints. This thread has become confusing and garbage for those with Navigon devices looking for a software upgrade.

From reading through all this, it appears that this simply isn't possible on the Navigon units, or there just isn't anyone with the know how who has a Navigon unit to attempt this with. Definitely think a new pinned thread in the FAQ section with the specifics would be a useful addition!

I lecorse, sorry for not working...
I'm not sure what is going on. With the original version of Navigon are you getting the Cupra start screen? After the factory reset do you get the menu that tells wich car you have?

you little mod worked wonders for me! I got all the gauges from the Cupra on my 1.2TSI FR.

I just noticed a few visual bugs on my end, due to different versions of the car. Mine is a 5door, and the image that appears when doors are opened does not reflect the state of the back doors. It does come on and shows the car, but it doesnt show up the red back door if one is opened, only the front ones/trunk and hood are shown in red if opened

Also, I noticed that on the RPM gauges, the Cupra redline starts at near 7k RPM, I dunno about the 1.4TSI FR's out there, but my 1.2 actually starts at near 6k RPM. Also, the MT have 5 gears instead of 7 :)

Is there a way to crack open the files where the graphics are stored and see if we could mod them a bit to suit our FR? I can try to help with a bit of photoshop if needed!

Still, great job on the hex coding m8! ;)

The Graphics are held in the .nfs skin files, does anyone know how to open / read .nfs files?? don't think these are like the old linux nfs files

Indeed, that was my thought, the thing is when searching for .nfs filetype the only thing that does come up is the nfs linux files like you said.

Dunno if that might be the case or not, but it would be nice if anyone can open this files.

At first: Sorry for my english, I'm German.

I drive a Ibiza Cupra (2013) with Navigon.

After reading this thread and trying all different things to get Version 7.13 to my NAVIGON nothing helped.

So I wrote a Mail to Navigon (now Garmin). The good thing is, that i got the answers really fast.

It is not planned to update the "old" Navigon's with the new Features of the Garmin, but they forwarded my mail to the programmer, so maybe the Features will come with the next updates.... MAYBE...

Hi folks,
i have just done a little hack with my Seat Portable System to show the performance display for all SEAT Ibiza Models (with SPS connectivity).
I think this should be very useful and funny to FR owners like me.:D

If some one wants the Performance display on their car, just download the following file and replace it on Navigator\VwUserShell path. Before replace the file, please save a copy of the original one. I totaly recommend a full backup with FRESH too.

Any question just ask.

File: **w.4shared.com/rar/PYh_JBo1ba/VwUserShell.html

Worked perfect for me!

Just about to p/ex my present Seat Mii so thought would update the PID and on the Fresh update site the latest series is 7.13.10 don't know if this gives the new dials etc as when I started up have change to an Italian language etc. But as the car is going, don't think will investigate any further.. cheers
