Can u check the ohm for each injectors ? They should be similar ohm each one, if they not can be the faulty inejctor causing the rev issue

Impatient much? :p

I'm currently up in Manchester with work and I'm on the mobile so can't really go in to everything in detail.

Turbo won't be knackered from it being revved a few times from cold. A diesel turbo is always boosting when being driven -even gently.

Cranking speed is fine and isn't the issue.

As for the fuel pipes, really can't remember if pipe 1 should pulse. MJ may know? If fuel supply at pipe 4 is good I would be tempted to say it isn't the issue.

That was indeed the injector harness and the code is directly due to cranking while unplugged so don't worry about it.

As for your list, I can't see it being anything other than injector seals as MJ described recently. All a diesel engine needs in warm weather is fuel and compression. Compression is there or it wouldn't run.period. sensors can be ruled out through data logging and reading live data, all they will affect is timing and quantity of fuel delivery.

No one got any comments on all my updates today?

The fuel 1 pipe I don't think they pulse I think it's fuse going back in the tank and pipe 4 going in, have u checked the the coil pack in the warm weathers it can take time to fire up if faulty ?

I was thinking that other than battery it might only be seals as I can't we any other reason why it would take days for the problem to surface. Having said that I'm surprised it didn't after 4 days. I think I'm just going to have to keep using it as normal and when it does next time get it recovered.

What do you think of the squealing noise in the video

if altarnator is showing as normal 14v on start up and it's draining out it must be the voltage regulater

Also I have a separate issue today. In hope of making sure everything is running perfect I added some dielectric grease into the maf connection, as there are hundreds of people saying how successful this is in improving smoothness etc. My car seems to run ok, but mpg is now is down by 4mpg and turbo lag has increase loads low down. Also idle has got rough again. I don't know if this is cos i used the grease or cos all the fault codes today disturbing harnesses and batt. Does accelerator need calibrating or anything when batt comes off

Who the living fek told you to put grease on an intensely sensitive thread element the width of a hair who's sole purpose it is to be in direct contact with the air, so it can measure it (duh!).

The only thing that should touch a MAF sensor element is air, MAF cleaner and carb cleaner at a push.

On that note, get some carb cleaner and spray the MAF inside again...GENTLY. THen reset the ECU

Even that will have a bad connection coz grease might not be touching the wire or getting a signal

No this is special electric connection grease. I can see what he did now. Phew!!!

Regardless, might be an idea to clean the MAF hehe. Never hurts really. Unless you break the MAF....then it hurts bad.

Everyone on the link swears by the stuff, but as we know im cursed, so do you think it has caused the new symptoms I have described, or is that something to do with my existing starting problem.
