I placed my Leon order today! Factory build so it'll be a long wait, but so worth it! ETA 12 weeks.

My spec:-

1.8 TSI DSG FR - Ice Silver metallic

Tech pack
Convenience pack
LED pack
Storage pack
Adaptive cruise
18" alloys
Seat sound pack

I've previously had an Ibiza Cupra so can't wait to get back to SEAT. I loved that car!

Kit? Do you mean the sports styling kit?

To be honest, I just felt that the cost outweighed the benefit. If I added too much more on then I may as well have gone for the Cupra! I admit it does look very nice though.

Colour was a hard choice! I found the paint palette quite limited to choose from as it mainly consists of white, grey and black.

Silver was the logical choice for me. As mentioned, it looks classy and shows off the lines of the car well. Practically, it will look cleaner for longer and won't show up any marks quite so obviously. I've got a black Giulietta at the moment and it is a nightmare to look after!

I've got a 1.8 tsi in Nevada White my previous A3 was silver loved silver but found when selling the car everyone wished it was white.

In regards to the kit, I love it as I think it really sets the car off but I'm the same speccing it would have made no sense as I may aswell of gone for the cupra. I have found out though that the Cupra diffuser is only £60 from a dealer. So I think I'm going for that and spoiler to gain a sportier look to the car.

Interesting about the diffuser and spoiler. May be something I look into. If you get it done then make sure you put some pics up ;)

Having doubts about the silver now... I think it will look good but might be a little "boring". So many silver cars around on the roads. Decisions, decisions... !

you do see very few Leons in silver. White looks great with the sunroof contrasting, but is a job to keep clean.
Black doesn't show the sunroof at all, and is also a job to keep looking shiny. Especially the top of the rear bumper where all the mucky rainwater collects.....but as my last car was silver, and so was the one before, and my duaghter's golf is dolphin grey, black was a logical choice as it was in the showroom and ready to drive away:)
