looks a good deal for 20k miles pa - no stupid penalty likely there, 3 services covered (best part of £800), and GAP (which is probably £200).
and a good spec. Get them to throw in a sound pack...the wheels already there to house the subwoofer.

Got my FR 184 DSG for £389 with £1500 deposit over 4 years on 20k:

Nevada White
Tech Pack
Seat Sound System
Adaptive Cruise Control
Alcantara/Leather
Winter Pack
Convenience Pack
18" Performance Alloys
GAP Insurance & Tyre Insurance
3 Years Free Servicing.

I was quite chuffed with that. The trick was getting them to agree to a price for a car with Winter and Convenience and then telling them I wanted it ASAP. So then they had to find an already built but not registered and this came up with all those extras and they kept to the price we'd agreed. Think it helped that the dealers had literally only just opened up and they were very keen for sales.

I'll change it after three years as well probably.

That's great guys knowing I got a good took 4hrs of twisting salesmans arm and ear.

I wanted the 184 was £377 pm same deposit with same spec, however it's too much for me and the difference is a lot money over the term for 1sec faster to 60mph four times per day! The car will be on the motorway 90% of the time so no real benefit.

Insurance will be lower also maybe!!!

I could get a tunning box to bump up Bhp to that level for a couple of hundred..and save a approx £2500
Did you think my theory works...

go to the seat website and use the finance calculator, the thing id check is if the final payment tallies with what the dealers quoting. also ask what it would be over 41-42 months.

gap insurance you can get cover cheaper online, easy gap is underwritten by ageas insurance they are a very big insurer

also check theres a discount on invoice for the amount of 3 services 169/199/149 are the amounts

hope this helps

They are doing three services for £100 at the moment but they can give it away free. Also, I got both GAP and Tyre Insurance reduced by half without any actual haggling.

Look to see what discount they gave you. Interest rates and final values are pretty much set by seat finance...although vw dealer did drop it slightly on my mums polo.

As said service pack is £99 if took with seat finance.. Gap insurance etc is a open ended question, but look online for quotes

I got a discount of £3600 plus the deposit contribution on a 1.4 tsi fr in white with seat sound, tech pack, 18s and convenience pack... Which seemed a good price

Sounds like a good deal, what is the final pcp payment out of interest. I have gone for straight hp, so I got the zero finance, but had to put 50% deposit down. I got the £1k off plus a further £1600, so you did better than me, mine is factory order.

HI if you are happy paying that amount of money each mouth for a car you want, and you can afford it, just enjoy it and have fun we could be dead tomorrow good luck with your new car, looks great in red.

If you really want a 184 why not consider a slightly used one? I bought my fr184 estate 6 months old with the following spec :

Convenience pack
Technology pack
Nevada white metallic
18" wheels
Seat sound (includes spare wheel)
Panoramic roof
Alcantara interior

42month pcp, two years free servicing, £500 deposit , for £325 per month. This was based on 15k per annum. I bought gap insure independently for £120.
