N80 Purge Valve location?

Hi

I need to replace my N80 valve (Evaporative purge solenoid valve) on my 09 MK5 Ibiza as its struggling to start in warm conditions. I've had a search on here and it seems to be a common problem with the 1.4 SC Ibiza's that it needs to be replaced.My problem is, I cant seem to locate it, Has anyone replaced this before and could kindly point me in the right direction where it is?

My 1.4 Ibiza has the same problem. Starting hard in warm/hot days. Do you have a part number so I can find it on ebay?

I know that it is located behind the air filter case, but it seems I cannot find it anywhere to buy it.

Believe the part number is 06E906517A, Is it behind the air filter? I'll have to take a look!

Yeap, it`s behind the air filter case. I cannot post a picture as I don`t have yet 15 posts.

So...
From the first picture- Just follow the line that goes behind the air filter case with your hand until you can feel a clip where the cable is sitted. It will be somewhere around the first quarter of the air filter case. just un-clip the cable from there and continue to follow it until the mid-third quarter of the air filter case and you can feel the valve there. I have a really, really good picture of its position but I do not know how I can send it to you. Maybe I will just spam this thread so I can get 15 posts.

I have circled the valve, and the hose that you see going to it is the one that I`ve told you to follow.

Ahh you legend! Thanks mate! I kept thinking it was on the right hand side underneath the air filter hose, I was completely wrong! lol
