Hi guys i'm looking to purchase a cat back system and an air intake before getting y LCR mapped and wanted some advice about which systems to go for.

The Cat back systems i have been looking at are Miltek, BCS, and Cobra. From what i can gather Miltek and BCS there isnt much between however i can't find any feedback on Cobra. Funnily enough the youtube videos i've managed to find are all Cobra so im a bit stuck here hah. Also is there a massive difference between the res and non-res as i am tempted to go for a non res but don't want a constant drone in the cab when cruising as a 12 week old baby will be in the back some of the time. Its hard for me to judge as i have never actually heard anything other than stock in the flesh.

The air intake i've narrowed down to Revo, Ramair, or Neuspeed just wondered which one of these you guys thought was the best or is there much difference at all? Im not looking to go over stage 1 so it will be more for sound to be honest.

Thanks for your help in advance guys :D

Bcs and revo job done ;). The revo sounds like darthvader, I love it. And Cant beat a bcs system sounds awesome. I cant take cobra exhausts seriously as all the 1.2 corsas and clios are running them around mine

Haha fair enough. What about the res vs non-res? I wish i could hear both in person -.-

BCS is a full 3 inch system, whereas the Milltek cat-back is 2.75 inch.

I recently spoke to Nige at BCS, he recommends keeping the two silencers otherwise the system is very droney. They do a Sport or Prestige option, the Prestige has a larger centre silencer so is a little quieter.

I had the Neuspeed p-flo fitted to a previous car and it was pretty good, currently running the EVOMS intake which IMO is a lot better and includes a surround to isolate the intake from the engine. A lot of people consider the Revo intake to be the best though.

How about the ramair ? Is there much feedback on this because imo it looks better than the neuspeed one. With the exhaust im just worried the system with silencers won't be much different from stock so will be a waste.

It won't be much louder if you're only going sports prestige without the powervalve, but with it you get the best of all worlds with a nice burble ticking over, no louder inside for normal driving and superb roar that will announce your arrival to all when you're on it ;)

I gained a lot more noise just by fitting the BCS downpipe and keeping the standard cat-back. The full BCS system is louder still, and still manages not to drone or be too intrusive in the cabin
