Fuse location

Am trying to find the fuse for the secondary air pump. Pls assist. A pic would be nice too?

Need a bit more info even to begin looking - what car, what engine, what year for a start. No guarantees even then.

Seat altea. 1.6. 2004. Engine code BGU. I can't even find a Haynes manual for this car.

Altea is basically a Golf Plus with a different skin, so the Golf 5 manual covers most of the drivetrain, suspension, electrics and so on.

Elsawin says fuse J299, 5 Amps, position SB10, electronics box in the engine compartment.

All have positions with F

All the fuses in VAG diagrams have codes beginning with S - Sicherung is German for fuse. SB means the fuses in the top of the electronics box under the bonnet, SA refers to the high-amperage fuses (metal strips) in the front of the same box and SC the fuses in the panel under the dash.

So the fuse in position 10 in the electronics box is SB10.
