Gutting DPF

I know people have had this done I am just curious to see how much it would cost to gut the DPF and have it welded back up? Just so it still passes MOT. I have got rid of the back box to get the Cupra R style so wouldn't want it completely straight through as I am happy with the way it sounds now.

Everyone says it will sound rubbish completely straight through anyway..

Depends on who does it, also they will have to remove the software/remap it too so the car doesn't try and regen etc. My local place charge £200-250.

Quoted 280 from a powerflow place here in NI, was just a remap to put off the engine management light

DPF removal. EGR delete and a remap 340 all in

Cost me £280 at NV Motorsports for the DPF removal only (had remap tints etc all done at same time which took the bill to £500)

Unit 9 do you gut the current dpf or use a custom downpipe? Needs to still pass MOT. I've got the RDX on now if you still want to see?

gut the current unit. Looks untouched and the unit flows excellent so no need to change it
