One of my dipped beam headlight bulb has blown after 5 months of fitting them.
Maybe because I have my lights set to auto all the time and I drive a lot?

I now need to buy a pair of bulbs for my dipped beam headlight to match the colours as I dont want them to be off colour from each other.

Which bulbs do you guys recommend that are long lasting. I need like a xenon look type which is not too blue and more of a white colour just like the way proper xenons look like. Also something that is bright and shines similar like a proper xenon.

My car is a 2011 Seat Leon FR which has standard headlights and are not the actual xenon type.

I have seen few on ebay....... I am on phone and cannot find a link for the item.
Just please search for 121034246582 on ebay and it will come up.

If you guys have purchased something better or similar then let me know as I need to pull my whole headlight out as one of the clip that holds the bulb in place has come off and I cant be changing bulbs every 5/6months lol.

I believe I have osram night breaker unlimited in my Leon. Give off a nice white light and actually light the road up well too. Hardly find myself using high beam and they have lasted way over a year so far! (On auto also)

Osram Nightbreakers are slightly whiter than normal bulbs, and give great light output, but they do not look remotely like Xenons

MTEC Cosmos Blue bulbs have a much whiter, Xenon-like colour, but the light output and beam patter is crap compared to the Osrams

Bottom line - you can't get the Xenon colour and light output without having Xenons.... so pick your compromise

I have phillips x treme 100% extra light headlight bulbs which give off a very bright white light-I believe they are also now available in +130% .I read a test of headlight bulbs and these came out on top. Also when I fitted them the original bulbs were phillips.

Thanks, I went with the Osram bulbs. I would have bought Philips but was too over priced for me lol.

I have osrams, give a good range. Had hids before hand, looked good but absolutely useless

Just installed OSRAM Cool Blue 'Xenon Look' on my nephews LEON as his bulbs had blown also.

Should they be looking like this yellow colour? Even though claims to give off bluish super white colour.

Exactly.
I'm going to return them because seller had advertised it as 'Xenon Look' but actually is 'Yellow Look'.

Is Philips White Vision H7 - Xenon Effect (Free Watch 501 Bulbs) from EuroCarParts any good?
Not going to install 501 bulbs as I like my sidelights LED Blue.

The car in the pic is a facelift tho? Ive got same car as in the pic. Might risk it.

Here is another picture of how it actually looks at night. I have to say they are really bright, they kind of show their own little light on the road. I installed them on February and on its way of going out now as its starting to flicker a little bit here and then. I always have them on day or night so that could be the reason also.
But it does show an error on the dash because its LED and using little power, so car thinks its blown.

Has anyone tried the osram 65w bulbs for dipped beam? They seem to give a great output and dont have the limited life of many of the plus regular 55w bulbs.

I don't think I could cope with the light on the dash! Haha. I changed my number plate bulbs to LEDs and the warning light started annoy me so changed them back lol.
Do really like the look of those though

I have osram nightbreakers in my car. The packaging says they won't last as long as standard bulbs. But they've lasted over a couple of years so far. (Driving with them set to auto, and on most of the time even when still relatively light)
