Sounds about right and if your experience with DTD is anything like mine it will go very smoothly and you will be very pleased.

What are the main benefits of going Sat Nav high over standard?

I am in a similar position to you, ie looking to order a new Cupra.

The nav high has hard drive and I understand is faster and higher resolution (although same size) screen.

Nav high includes Full Link but I think that is standard now anyway? Also has wifi, sms messaging, but for me the premium might be worth it for the speed and resolution.

I have the standard (updated) sat nav and speed and resolution is fine for me. Think the old standard sat nav was dire (speed and res) but the updated version is much better.

I personally wouldn't bother with a pano roof.

I've had this option in my two previous cars:

Abarth Grande Punto - Just rattles, dealers didn't seem to be able to fix the issues after 3 years.

Audi A3 8V - Rattles, I had previously thought the Abarth's issues were due to the cheaper car/brand. Seems thats not the case, unless it gets a good lubing every few months it rattles from the glass AND the internal cover. Will never, ever spec this option again... EVER!

I've got the panoramic roof on my estate. Car is almost two years old with 31k miles on it and no issues with rattles or anything. Brightens up the inside of the car and great on a nice day. One option that I would definitely spec on future cars!

try specing the same options on the carwow website. wait half a day and see the best offers come in. Dealers are bidding blindly, not knowing who you are and have to offer their best deals. I am sure the offers will match up with DTD or better, but you get extra re-assurance you are getting the best deal. If you like one of the offers better on carwow, just call the dealer direct, as it gives you all the contact info for them.

I thought list price was around the 27k mark......even with extra 's can't see how that would make the Cupra a 33k car. I've seen a few new/registered 280's floating around for 23k.

Blimey...just spected a 290 with a few extras and is just over 24k and 0 percent too. Going to get the finance quote and compare against my current 280. :)

No dealers on car wow beat DTD for me.... But most offered PX which may appeal to some?

I would've a 280 to shift if I went down the drive a deal route as they don't part ex. Fantastic prices though.

My roof does not rattle either, the rest of the car rattles like a tin of nuts mind :p

Just looking at the SEAT configurator, you can spec a full, additional set of 18" alloys for £210. MIght be worth a punt if you intend to fit winter tyres.

My dealer can't get near the 26k for a 290(man) with sub 8 pack. But unless I was to sell mine I'm snookered, plus the wait is around 8 month's :(

Finance breakdown:

6k down
10k final payment
41 x £244

Great deal and only £30 more than I'm paying for my 280.....saying that, I like to change cars every 3 years and already been in my wonderful 280 for 14 month's.
