Big revo news for 1.4tsi 150 act

Revo have finally released the software stating a massive gain of 50bhp and 57lbft when run on 100ron fuel .

Anyone else feel like saying "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY"?

Hi Liquid tension I would also on this subject however good the re-maps are and I am sure there is some good ones out there. money spent cant take it to your next car expensive possible flag up to me

but if the engine blows and it it proven that the remap caused it to blow then you are on your own

Is the 1.4 TSI just turbo charged? Guessing it's the 1.4tsi from the polo GT not the two charged unit from the polo GTI which produced 180bhp stock? Only reason I say this is I had a 1.4tsi which was the supercharged 180bhp unit, I had an APR remap and I got an engine warning light which came on when I caned it, error was turbo overboost....it cleared but the 1.4 tsi engines are pretty highly strung, I would say go for 1.8tsi or even better the 2l tsi from the Cupra if you want to tune safely.

Anyone know how the 1.4 TSI engine (125ps) differs to its 150ps brother? Hoping that this means revo can do something with the 125 as well? Warranty depending obviously hmm..

Given how much lower APR's 125 map is, id say its a different turbo, assuming the engine code is similar.

And no Boj, wrong gen mate, they dont do that anymore.

Do you have a link to APR's website? A Google search seems to bring up various places of the same name.

I'd love to map mine to anything past 150 but I'm wary of the warranty, I assume I'd invalidate it for all drivetrain components?
