So just lowered the back of the car with 35mm springs(H&R). Maybe I need a 19" wheel next to fill the arch? Opinions? It all needs to settle back down now anyway.

I fitted the back myself. It's going to be around €40 to the front

Ap coils, front and rear from hub center to wheel arch 335mm front and rear.
Ap Coils feel much more comfortable than stock, not harsh at all, but nice firm and much less body roll and diving on braking.
You can go lower by ~20mm front and 15mm rear, but as a daily driven this is good for me.

Hi, new member here from Sweden with a cupra 280. I went with h&r springs and they lowered about 25mm. I can't say it rides any stiffer than before, really like them and lowering is just perfect for daily driving.
Had h&r springs on my last car also(Golf mk5), and the feeling was the same.

Andy TSI,

Where did you end up getting your springs at in Ireland? I'm from Ireland too and are looking for some. Do you have electronic dampening? If so did it effect it at all?

Have you done any work with VCDs on your Leon??

Bought them over at alloywheels.ie get in touch with Keith over there. No effects on the car at all.

Nope I haven't done anything with it at all yet. I'll get around to it after my holidays, just haven't any time at all yet!

Wow that looks verry good!

Do you have any better pictures? I will install my AP coils this Thursday. In that way I should be able to set them first time right. :)

Does the Fr come with better shocks as standard as well as 15mm lower?

I prefer h&r kits but there is no cup kit yet (that I can find), just springs.
