Adding the 4wd system to the Cupra would take the edge of it and make it more expensive. Better for Seat to knock out a more focused edition with more oomph.

For awd fun, great engineering and future value, grab a good Evo or Impreza. But say hello to high running costs.

Been asking for this for years! A Cupra Clubsport would be good.
 
So you can modify the engine but not ditch the rear seat yourself? VW was ridiculed by many when they did that on the Clubsport S... And Meganes R's aren't that glorious a version either, or?
 
You never get a factory look.

Also these kind of cars are usually limited run and command a decent £ when sold on, look at things like the Megane R26 R for example.

In a few years the Clubsport S will command decent prices where as the Cupra/GTI won't especially as the lease market is flooded with them now.
