A bean bag
Unfortunately my car doesn't come with satnav in the head unit and having trusted the Mrs to aid with navigation and the subsequent fall out I need a decent holder for my mobile phone.

Does anyone have any recommendations? My dad used to have a very good one by Brodit for his MX5. Has anyone used them? I think it'll have to be on the left hand side of me as i'll need to use the USB in the glove box.

Thanks all.

Search for iPhone Holder. There's pics of my setup with a Brodit mount and other people's opinions.

Hi Mardon, the Kenu Airframe takes some beating!

Hi Mardon, the Kenu Airframe takes some beating!

I bought the Airframe for my iPhone 6 (not plus)... it was pretty good, but not great. I found the resistance towards the end of the spring actually pulled it out the vent each time. But I liked it enough I got the Airframe+ instead and love it! Much easier to take my phone in and out and feels more secure in the vent.

Brodit mount and iPhone holder look great. Professional looking too.

Yeah tawn between the two. Just got Tomtom on my phone it looks decent! The brodit will go landscape if I need.

I've sworn by brodit in all my cars, got the one for the mk2 leon and it doesn't seem to fit my mk2 FL with the 315 RDS though... first time it's let me down. :(

Another vote for the Kenu Airframe here. Really simple and easy to add, remove and move around and rotates for portrait or landscape view.

I use it on the RHS of the steering wheel in portrait most of the time but move to the left and landscape when using the phone as a satnav so it's closer to the 12v socket. I also took it with me on hols recently and used it in our hire car.

I'm skint due to the deposit on the car so went Kenu Airframe as it looks great value.
Thanks for the help everyone.
