Thought i'd stop by and say hi,

I'm one of the masses taking advantage of the insanely low lease prices on the Cupra 290 Black Edition (5dr), due end of October.

Coming from a Focus ST-3, i'm surprised by the lack of some of the goodies on the Leon, no keyless entry, push button start, sun glasses holder... But i'm sure the extra money in my bank each month will make up for that

I promised the wife that i was going to get a "sensible" car this time, but at the current prices a similar spec'd diesel was coming in more per month, so putting that to the fuel bill instead and going for smiles per gallon..

There is a sunglasses holder in the Cupra...... its called 'a head' ....

Funny how as you get older you start to look for things like sunglasses holder and cup holders and get excited if they are there and usable, last 2 cars have had shocking cup holders which is not good if clocking upto 20k

As an older more mature driver, I can tell you that cup holders, sunglasses holders etc don't make a toss of a difference and never have, to my choice of motors, how they handle and drive are far more important.

But once you've had a full cup of hot coffee fly at you because the arm rest/handbrake fouls the cup when you remove it, you become very aware of their location

i know, i even let the kids in the car, luckily have just ordered the wife a bigger car (Kia Sportage) so "family" trips and holiday mileage will get put on that instead mine
