After an excruciating wait starting May this year, finally I can reveal my new baby:
Seat Leon Cupra 290 hatchback, manual
Extras: Navi Plus, Full Europe, Full Link/MirrorLink, Driver's Aid Pack, Winter Pack, SEAT Sound System, Front&rear parking sensors, Pano Sunroof, CUPRA Black Line pack and Pirineos(Monsson) Grey color. Starting tomorrow morning I can ride it as well.
Here's her still wrapped up.

Happy happy joy joy, my first issue occurred. This morning after the cold start, the idle started fluctuating between 900 and 1500 rpm like i'd keep revving the car. Yesterday I did about 120 miles as part of the break-in process and none of this weird behavior happened. I'll take it later to the dealership and ask what's what.

Update: Since my last engine restart, the idling problem seems to have faded. Still went to Seat, had a tester placed, turns out there was an Air Flap Actuator control anomaly but nothing malfunctioned. They gave me back my car and said to run it for a couple of days and come back if the issue came around again. Now i have to wait for a few hours for the engine to become cold again and have another go but honestly, i believe tomorrow morning will be true test.

I had this happen twice in one day and then never again on my Ibiza FR (I know they're completely different engines etc but just thought I'd share). I don't know the cause of it or resolution but it seemed to be when I was low on fuel, I refilled with super unleaded and it never happened again. But if your car is brand new and had a decent amount of fuel then this message was pointless so apologies.

I've just handed my car to the mechanics at the dealership. The check engine light came on today and the error was P0068 MAP sensor/MAF sensor/throttle position correlation. The events highlighted higher than usual idle revs and abnormal airflow.

I'm so upset and disappointed.

Exactly this day last year I had my brand new Ford Mondeo MK5 tdci 180hp picked up from the Ford dealership and the very next day I had to tow it off the highway because of a severe drivetrain fault. The guys that handed me the car back then "forgot" to put the coolant cap back on after pouring the liquid in. I didn't notice that because of the immense excitement. This resulted in a cracked cylinder gasket and cylinder head. I couldn't ask for a refund nor for a new car because the terms said I was only going to benefit from that if the repair costs of the fault were priced higher than the car. New engine was an option but they offered me 5yrs extended warranty with 100k mile limit. So I went for the latter.
Repair took nearly 3 weeks to complete but she wasn't going to be the same afterwards. Kept the car 10 months and issues kept occurring so decided to sell it and lose some money but go for a snappier and more appealing smile bringer. Brings us to today. Car picked up on Wednesday, handed over to service today. Deja vu.

I'm not even angry, I'm just deeply, deeply disappointed.
