I ordered one of those windscreen sprayer things that there's a sticky for in this section. Hopefully better than the 3 jet.

+1 along with giving my glass a through cleaning since Motorpoint cleaning standards aren't the same as mine and ordering a paint touch up kit.

Have a look at chipex before looking at a conventional touch up kit.

I'm such a muppet.... I ordered one. So now I have a sprayer jet on the drivers side and a 3 jet on the passenger. DOH!
I've only replaced the one, I decided to keep the passenger as a jet because it deals better with air flow at high speeds than the spray does. So the pax jet is angled as far as possible to the driver side of the windscreen, while the driver side is a spray for even coverage at lower speeds/medium speeds.

Not been on in a while! Got my Leon brand new back in February and today she's just clicked over onto 20,000 miles!!! Glad to be rid of the Bridgestones on the front! Killed them by 17K! And the Dunlops currently fitted are far - far superior! [B)]

Today shes had a good clean, only to be totally dissapointed by the paint quality! Bonnet must have at least 5 / 6 stone chips - all of which are now milky white in colour and pretty large, noticed a couple on the roof just above the windscreen too!! And don't even get me started about my 'peppered' front bumper!! Bah.

Yes mate,i almost cryed when found first stone chip, just after 3months. Hood and bumper has some dirty chips.
Im affraid what will be at winter. Protective vinyl is very expensive-just for hood over 240euros.

You did well to get 17k from the front Bridgestones. Mine has just turned 12 month old with 7k on and they're nearly scrap. Just ordered 2 x Michelin PS4 from Kwikfit at £103 a corner....

Aye, I put it down to the majority being on the motorway (20K in 8 months!!) plus to be fair by the time I got them off and the Dunlops fitted the poor things were down to 1.7/1.8mm!! So absolute scrap at that point, in fact almost illegal lol! I got every last mile out of them...

Horrid :censored: things that they were!!!

Im talking to a wraping company. Probably will go with normal glossy black on the hood. A lot cheaper that dedicated crystal winyl.

Manage to install the VWR600 intake today. It was tricky to get the secondary inlet at the bottom to fix rigidly (still not 100% if it is). But my main problem came at the end where the screw holes didn't line up. I forced the holes to line up and had to leave one hole out to because it was quite far out.
Haven't done a test run yet, however the difference will probably be negligible at this stage

Take it out and do it again. I had the very same problem, but I didn't have it in properly. When everything lines up, the screws go in almost exactly.

Fitted full LEDs in the interior of her, bought from LEDperf, with a quick mod on OBD eleven and soldering a resistor in, the full LEDs really transform it!

A bit of a comparison

Got round to get the VWR lowering springs fitted, noticeably lower and sits perfectly. It should've come like this from the factory imo. It is a tad stiffer, definitely notice it coming off a speed bump.

My front tyres are on the verge of being slicks (after ~8k) ive read somewhere on this forum Michelin Pilot sport 4S is the go to tyre, I just can't seem to find them anywhere. Anyone know where they are available?
If not I might just opt for the super sport (hoping there isn't much difference)

Thanks
