Early morning clean and B Road blast to clear DPF light! God knows why I've got the dreaded DPF light on - cars done 23,000 miles since purchased new in January!! That's hardly "start & stop" driving is it!?...so it's been thoroughly thrashed today....

Took the opportunity to take a scenic picture....

That is strange. What fuel do you use in it?
Also nice pic

I use premium stuff when and where possible but it's not always possible just due to my job / remaining fuel range / closest garage etc but I'd say - approx - 70% of the fuel since new the car has seen has been premium stuff, only other thing is its been on a DTUK box since 2000 miles in and does do fairly regular regens (revs idle @ 1000rpm) whenever this happens I make sure I drive till it's done its 'thing' - oh the fun modern diesels can be eh.....lol. This aside cars been great 23k in though!!

Hello guys.anyone experienced optical parking aid not working?only beeping?!mine didnt show up,while parking backwards at home

VAG Familia

After 12k miles on the dreaded Bridgestones I finally got round to changing the front tyres for Michelin Pilot Super Sports and boy what a difference they make - it feels like a different car, so much more positive feeling through the steering, just seems a more accurate device to point down the road - amazing, so thanks to all the forum members who have recommended the fitment of the PSS - spot on, though not cheap at £204 each - however, my local VAG specialists, Wills & Ellis in York, did a brilliant job, being really careful not to damage those silly diamond cut 19" rims!

Mine were only £170 and got 6 months interest free to pay for them from Blackcircles.

Thanks for this - I did consult Blackcircles and for my postcode they quoted £186 each, but I know this garage well, trust them and also took the opportunity whilst the wheels were off to use their pressure wash facilities to clean inside the wheels and apply some Collinite No. 845 Insulator Wax. Guess I have overpaid a little, but overall happy with the service I got - wheels are immaculate!

I paid 180 a corner last weekend for pilot ss through black circles. The primitive tire pressure warning system flared up on my way home tonight. The car drove the same and is dark and pissing down outside so waiting for a break in the rain to get my pressure gauge out. I'm praying it's a false positive and not one of my new Mickys which has a puncture! :(

I had the warning go off on the motorway a couple of days after fitting the PSS. Nothing wrong and hasn't done it since.
Kwikfit have PSS on promotion at £169. Bargain.

Yes I had the TPMS warning light go off within a few miles of having the new PSS's fitted - reset the system and all has been fine since

I've deffo paid over the odds for the PSS - Kwik Fit is a bargain without a doubt!

I want some and the new powerflex engine mount. Sick of wheel hop. Can anyone give a comparison between the PSS's and the Conti 5's?
