Year 3 Service/Oil Change with first MOT approaching. Done a few exta miles this year and I reckon I will be 500 miles over my alloted 10,000 by the time I want the Service done, the MOT being the governing factor. Not really worried about warranty at Year 3, but could I do any harm by letting the 10,000 miles extend a bit?

10,000 nope at all... I stretch mine to 15,000 miles between oil changes.... I'm not saying for you to go that far cos I do all Motorway driving. But if you use a good oil you'll be fine..1 or 2 thousand over won't be a problem......

Wait...... I just Re-read this thread. I misunderstood... I thought you meant harm to engine. Only just realised you meant harm to your warranty... Sorry. Ignore everything I posted...

I think he does mean harm to the engine.

A 64 reg car will be out of warranty this year. But if it’s about affecting warranty then it’s as posted above, 1000 miles / 1 month leeway.

I’d also recommend Seat extended warranty for when yours runs out......
