I'm having a. Nightmare with the pipes from the intercooler , I had it all fitted then it popped off when driving , the pipes from turbo revs don't fit as they are too long for the leon , has some custom ones made all sorted now
Was the turbo revs hose too short or long? Iv got both the turbo rev and the darkside hoses

The darkside hose is longer than the turbo revs 90 degree but the other hose is the same size

Recon one of then will fit ok?

(Darkside hoses have the clamps on)

Yes they look the right ones , that’s definetely the clamps you want , but I had such oversize hoses that the hose was basically touching the side of the oil pan and couldn’t get. A t bolt clamp in so I used 2 skinnier jubilees;)

I am getting tempted on water meth injection and also a forge hose kit for the engine bay!

Well the parts are on the car and the car feels great now , I swear it feels more “pokey” , I’m not sure if it is the placebo effect or my coils weren’t the best, the cold racing spark plug makes the car bang like a shot gun every gear change , sounds the dogs bollocks

Well I’ve fitted the shirt shifter today and it is one of my favourite mods to do date. Well worth £35 , don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner!

No mate bolts straight in, the cooler isn’t hard to fit once you get the stuff , don’t know why people are saying there bad , pure madness , nicky at r tech would of told me if so ...

My mate at work has a stage 3 focus st 2008 with a similar intercooler off eBay and preforms more then we’ll enough ..

Lol .. I wouldn’t be spending anymore on a intercooler if I was you personally , madness if you do! Nicky at r tech would of asked me if it had restrictions , just get them oversized hoses what I told you about ..And about £1,000 I got full kit from clutch stop , Sachs sintered clutch rated 450 foot pounds , single mass fly wheel, new slave cylinder and release bearing I think, mind the clutch is quite bad for daily driving , hurts my leg in traffic ! , if I done it again i would of stuck a lsd in there when the box was off

Well I’ve just fitted the super bush dog bone mount then had a quick drive to work haven’t really tested it out , no extra vibrations , probably due to already having a revo engine and gear box mount already in , but over all impression it helps put the power down

I'm going to be doing my full service myself this year for the first time eek. What did you clean the air filter with? Did you have to oil it or anything before putting it back on?

Also... don't suppose you have a link to those sparkplugs? I might give em a try.

I had a shortshifter on my FR, but could never get used to it. I think when changing gears quickly I was too slow on the clutch. So just ended up crunching the gears most of the time. I was tempted to try a short shifter with a sportsshifter knob (with less of a throw) and see how that worked out tho.
