Well not much been going on , apart from my drivers side rear Caliper getting stuck on! Had to buy a new one .. not to cheap, also put orange trim tape on the alloys ( what’s people opinions ?) also fitted a red air intake to dv return hose

I'm tied between Airtec Stage 2, Revo and Wagner. Not sure the Wagner is worth the extra $$$ but only want to do this once.

Or just take it to dynodaze and have a wellycooler supplied and fitted with harpipes for £499! Better flowing set up and cheaper than Wagner, airtec etc

Emailed them this morning. Apparently they move the position of the intercooler in front of the aircon also?
 
I like the intercooler Lee looks nice through the mesh, I am thinking about a new car such as a modified m3 450 bhp ish , 450 bhp evo or just getting a big turbo kit for mine, i don’t really know what numbers these cars can take before forging is a necessity

Iv read a few people go tte on stock internals , not much out there about the big builds , forging didnt cost me excessive amounts but as you said its not essential to as your at 400ftlb on stock rods

Yeh well I think my car will atleast be 420 ft lbs after the water meth kit and throttle pipe , my clutch is only rated to 450 ft lbs aswell , so I don’t really see how I could go big turbo without spending a huge amount again, tte480 does look nice though

New crank(mine was bent hence it kept squashing bearings which was due to a prev owner letting the oil run low)
Upgraded bearings.

Block honed

And obv new head gasket/bolts etc

Get a quote of tsr performance for parts as they offer quite a bit off the price shown online mate when ordered over the phone

I have just ordered a cts outlet turbo pipe , not going to be putting the muffler in, want all the noise I can :clap:, also getting metal intercooler pipes welded onto either side once I’ve fitted that part ,

Finally I have booked my car in for a full spray in 6 weeks after I get back from holiday . One of either 2 colours , what’s people’s opionions

Well just got this in the post , be fitting Friday , turbo muffler delete , wonder if it’s actually going to make the turbo sound any louder . Hoping for some nice gains , looking after other people’s experiences , fingers crossed haha

Well just put the cts outlet pipe to my car after a lot of swearing and put the new intercooler pipe on,
I think the car has a boost leak somewhere as it sounds like a kettle whistling when it’s boiled
, I have ordered a air compressor , and a smoke machine ,
So I am able to check the car myself for any leaks

Well just thought I’d update this ,

Just bought a stage 2 hybrid turbo + s3 injectors along with 165 bar fuel return valve + Audi ttrs intank fuel pump + blanking bung + uprated map and fuel rail sensor

Just need the map to go along with it now

Thought I wasn’t going to do anything more but then I got brass in the fuel pump and didn’t clean it out properly and ended up contaminating all of the fuel lines / tank / pumps , so I have to get injectors and everything so I thought I’d just go all out now . Hopefully I’ll be getting it remapped after my 2 week holiday in 3 weeks , hoping to see atleast 420BHP

Ive demoted to a mk1 cupra 1.8t 180 in aid of my first mortgage lol
