Cupra exhaust popping and banging

Anyone else's manual Cupra do this? When in Cupra mode it farts on every gearchange (like a DSG does, but only when giving it beans), and pops/crackles on the overrun

Exhaust seems much louder now as well? Couldn't hear a thing when I first picked it up, but now, 4k miles later, it's actually audible

Which model is it? Is the exhaust standard?

Exact same, got louder at about 3000miles and after a good run does not hesitate in loud claps. Also manual 300.

Completely silent so far on my 300 ST manual - 2k miles. Hope it kicks in eventually. Car has been exceptional so far though, cornering is incredible!

Managed 320 miles / 36mpg average on last tank too! Showed 50 miles still to go. Enjoying myself too! Must try harder

My 280 exhaust is far to quiet even tunnel blasts are uneventful. Can hear the thunder claps but when standing behind the car but not when driving. Considering a resonator and muffler delete pipe as soon as they come into stock !
