I set up individual as a soft cupra mode: all settings Cupra except DCC which is sport. Cupra DCC is to harsh on bump UK roads.
if I see a nice smooth road I switch to Cupra ...
if I on the motorway: Comfort.

Cupra Mode all the time, unless I am just about to run out of petrol and the nearest garage is a fair distance in which case ECO, But neither me nor the car like that.

Does the Cupra remember what mode you were in when you start the car?
I'm sure in my FR it stays in the mode you last had selected but the engine reverts back to normal before you change it again. Just wondered if it was different now for when my new one arrives!

Yes it stays in the mode you had before you turned off your engine. I would be annoyed if it didn't !

On the pre facelift that is not true, the car will say its in cupra mode but its not, you have to switch the gear box out and back into sports mode or push the button round the cycle. Lots of threads on here about that.

Oh really? That is a bit annoying.

Yep, more so because it leaves the display as Cupra, but as I say this is all on the pre facelift who knows they might of fixed it.
There again....

That was my understanding as well, i'm interested to know if this has been changed for the facelift

don't think so, it's even in the manual.

"When the vehicle is switched off it will always store the driving profile that was selected when the ignition key was removed. Nevertheless, when the engine is restarted, the engine and the gear will not restart in the setting selected. For engine and gear to revert to the desired position, select the corresponding drive profile again or press the Easy Connect system button repeatedly"

Individual mode, everything set as per Cupra mode except suspension and steering in comfort. Although the car feels like it should be quicker in Cupra suspension mode, its actually a lot quicker for me on our wonderful country roads in comfort. And more comfortable:) it goes in Cupra (suspension) mode on all tracks although if I take it to the Ring it will go in Comfort...

Individual for me with everything set to Cupra apart from steering and DCC. Eco only goes on when I’m on a long motorway run to the airport etc as the throttle respond is a bit lacking.

The odd blast home from work in full Cupra mode but not that often as the hard suspension on normal roads can be detrimental as it skits around a lot.

Normally just put the DSG in sport and plant my right foot.

Comfort on motorways, individual in good A/B roads ( all in cupra, except DCC in sport and engine in Sport)

I yet to find a road where Cupra DCC makes sense, it's bounces like a bunny even on smooth motorways.

I leave my in sport (FR) b because I prefer the heavier steering

And the wee flag is better on the screen that a little cog if you use individual

You’ve only just discovered the driver mode button? :O
Tongue in cheek British Humour. Its like the instructions that come with an Ikea flat pack, they are there, I know they are there, but choosing to use them is another thing altogether.

Ahhhhh I feel like Drax from Guardians now.

Just remember leaving it in Cupra mode after an engine restart isn’t really Cupra mode.

I'm seeing an opportunity for led back lit SeatCupra.net stickers;
Comfort - Green (I like it slow and steady)
Sport - Orange (I might like hard and fast, but not sure if I should)
Individual - Blue (I know what I like and I like what I know)
Cupra - Red (Hard and Fast - can you keep up)

Any similarity to previous posts made on dating websites is purely coincidental!:fool:

Imagine having a car for the best part of 24 months and suddenly discovering it had features you weren't aware of?:roflmao:Sticking to Cupra!
Not having a go at you but I cant understand people who don't instantly press every single button in their car as soon as they buy it to find out what it does:wtf: On the upside, you basically just got a free upgrade to your car after 2 years by finding that button:bleh: the car is a completely different beast in Cupra mode. Enjoy!
