Had the Cupra wrapped couple days back now and really happy with the results! Went for satin black and came out better than expected.

That actually works! Very stealthy.
How durable is the wrap? Easy to maintain?

Very interested. What kind of ball park are we talking for a whole car?Wrap should last 5 years which is good. As for maintaining im yet to wash it. But apparently easier to clean than gloss. Have ordered some matte/satin detailer and snow foam/shampoo
Also, if the colour of your car isn’t black under the wrap, do you need to inform DVLA of the colour change?
The wrap looks great! Always a fan of matte black. It could really do with some colour on the wheels now though, the black on black look is overdone. A set of gold, bronze, or silver wheels would look well.
It does look very stealth-like and is certainly a head turner. Personally, it’s not my cup of tea though as I like my car to be very shiny .
@b8er1234; curious to know if your insurer increased your premium, as it would cost more to repair your car than one that hasn’t been wrapped if you’re unfortunate enough to ever need bodywork repairs. Also, if the colour of your car isn’t black under the wrap, do you need to inform DVLA of the colour change?
Theoretically speaking does that mean a pearlescent wrap is possible? I hate to ask... but what happens when some knocks your door? Will the wrap survive a hit and can a small section be repaired easily?
I saw a Audi TT local to me with what I think was pearlescent red, I asked the driver if it was sprayed or wrapped and she said it was wrapped, I was very impressed (with the look of the car and the driver!).
I think totty pics will be fine firstNeeds pictures next time (and of the car!).
Just done some ‘Googling’, and it seems that if a vinyl wrap changes the colour of your car, you need to declare it to the DVLA, even though the colour change isn’t permanent.I may be wrong but I was under the impression DVLA didn't need to be notified anyway as a wrap is temporary and can be removed.
