Hi, I’ve recently purchased a 2012 mk2 supercopa Leon in red (love it) and I’m hoping you can help me with a few things!

It’s the 2.0 tdi (170) and I was wondering what sort of mods people have done to ge some more power out of them? I’m looking to rolling road remap in the new year but I didn’t know if there was anything I could do before hand to help with the results! Anything like panel filters, intercoolers?...

Also I’ve brought all new “error free” led number plate lights and DRL replacements but yet the number plate light do error and the DRLs error and don’t even work!! What have people done to over come things or is it a real problem?

Would really appreciate any help!

Thanks

Welcome to the Forum we do like a nice RED supercopa

You may say that but....
@Goodst4r if you are near the Blackpool area on the 5th Jan we are having a club meet you would be more than welcome to come along, there will be several MK2 Owners there.

Thanks for the warm welcome!!

Absolutely love the car can’t wait to put my own touch on it

Here a quick photo not doing it justice

Just get a stage 1 remap to about 200-210 bhp which is the limit for the turbo, don't need supporting mods. Other than that you're into big money stuff which isn't really worth it.

Unfortunately this is true. Previously you could go stage 2, but most reputable tuners have now stopped doing this as an option because you had to remove the DPF. Which is now an MOT fail. But you can check my readers ride for loads of handling and cosmetic mods.
