Looks like they have got rid of the chrome surrounds round the Aircon Controls and Door handles also.
Her is a picture of my new 290 that arrived 3 weeks ago and here is one 7 days after ownership.....

That's not nice to see! Hope they owned up to it!!
I've not got chrome on the aircon surround or door handles on my 280, apart from the drivers door. I assumed it was a warranty job and they fitted the wrong part before I purchased the car.
he did once one of the lads saw him driving away and put 2 and 2 together and chased after him. He swore he never noticed (plausible due to the size of the HGV), however the next day the works CCTV showed otherwise! my car was parked. His Boss wasn't to impressed once footage was sent over. been given an Audi A3 as a courtesy, doesn't cut the mustard I'm afraid
My 280 is black around everything, door handles, aircon parts etc. My 300 ST is Chrome. Im pretty sure my mates nomal 300 is chrome also.
I think I'd seen that all the MY19 290s went black surrounds rather than chrome, happy to be corrected though.

The surrounds are black but from what I could tell on mine (although it was dark) however there still seemed to be chrome elements around the vents e.t.c

no mines are chrome, think its the Coppra ones that come with black
Picked mine up the last weekend of November. Dealer said it was the first copper badged one out of the factory!
Loving it so far but not too keen on the copper badges against the red so might wrap them in carbon or something?
Also still waiting for the pops and bangs to come through from the exhaust as haven't done a huge amount of miles in it yet.

I used plasti dip on my badges and letters, much prefer it now

I've bought the genuine cupra lettering off Amazon and changed them that way and for the seat badges I bought some vinyl stickers that go over the top and they look pretty good,took me less than half an hour to change it all looks far better on a white car.
