Well if you do it all in one place you get warranty like any other, here would be the tuner workshop assunibg they do it all from a to z.
If you do half at home and ask for a tune I guess everyone will show you the door when it goes wrong.

Sorry, thats not how it works in Sweden
If i do all the work at the same place i will still only have the warranties that TTE supplies me with.
The tuner usually provides a warranty on the actual ECU, but nothing at all regarding the car.

Not even all tuners are interested in doing any actual wrenching here..

Hehe yes.. There are some shops who offer it all, but then the prices are totally different aswell, 2-4times as expensive...

What other IS38 hybrids are there out there?
I just knew about the TTE and PNP ones

@Snowman maybe its cheaper for you to buy the car from us? Cupra 280 with LM500 and all the supportive mods, did over 500bhp with the tune, I have the dyno chart, bills and everything. Estonia is not that far from Sweden and the price for the car is really tempting

You mean the entire car or the tuning package?
Depending on price it could actually be an idea

But for me the journey is almost more important than the target, so i like the build process

I mean the whole car ready, it is under the For Sale section also, added by me. For the price, it is a bargain if you compare the amount of money doing the same with your own car.

The prices excludes taxes, so their 450-package is about the same as the LM420/LM440.

Your friends car looks really nice, if i didnt just buy this car i might have been interested. If hes willing to remove some parts i could be interested

If the taxes are exluded then the prices arent that great anymore.

For now, he is only willing to sell the whole car.

Yeah i know.. :/ 1500gbp puts the smallest turbo very close to PNP.

Have anyone some infos about TTH(Turbo-Technik-Hamburg) turbos? Spool, relability, power...
They offer different versions of turbos:
TTH-06K-480 (Exchange Price cca. 1100EUR/950GBP)
TTH-06K-540 (Exchange Price cca. 1900EUR/1630GBP)
TTH-06K-600 (Exchange Price cca. 2000EUR/1720GBP)

Their 600HP version on Golf R make 100-200km/h 6,13sec
Im interested for TTH-06K-480 because it is very cheap compared to other brands and if it can bring me over 450HP it will be more than enough...

The issue is pricing for me. They have kind of the same price for the Lm450 as the LM-turbos, which have more information available about them.

Yesterday it was a sunny day so I have put my summer tires and managed to wake it up a little from winter hibernation.
Had some quick runs on my 10hz gps and it pulls consistenly 8.2-8.3 when goind 100-200kmh
I am doing the clutch delay valve mode this weekend as I get huge delay when it should engage to to 4th gear.
I lost my pdf with dyno chart but have a pic, just to share how user friendly it can be (like a diesel )
It is only running 1.7 bar due to my clutch. In case it goes we will see how much more it can make with paddle one from sachs.
