Just thinking of getting the resonator deleted on my fr 2017, is there much difference in the sound? & was told it can only be welding in, is that right?

Get a Carista dongle. £10-15 on Amazon, download the app and start a trial, cancel it but reap the benefits.
Can turn it off completely or down
Sorry @Priteshmakanjee ..... I have completely misread your post!!
I think I read the title then skipped down to the ending, ignoring your res delete
I’ll go back to my beer now..
You will have to wave if you see a mystery blue Cupra 290 on a GY plate as i'm also based in Shrewsbury.
Back on topic. I tried Cupra mode out properly for the first time since picking the car up, it sounds alot like there is a small child behind the dash doing their best impression of a race car! Definitely going to need to look into getting it disconnected/turned off.
Have yet to see a mystery blue Cupra in Shrewsbury! But will give you a wave if I see you, mines a monsoon grey SC

I'll keep an eye out!
Oh YESJust wondering, disconnecting this does not cause any faults to be logged, right?
you'd be better off spending £15 on the carista dongle and disabling it through the software instead. I did it, took me 5 seconds. also if you wanted to you can change the volume if you don't want it completely disabledI've recently picked up my first Cupra 290 and have followed the instructions at the start of the thread.
I've managed to get through to the box but it feels like its glued down and I've been unable to disconnect it. I'm not sure if there's something I'm doing wrong?
