The roof is nice. My treat when waiting for ferries or on a quite layby on the continent to listen to the birds:). Apart from the red button emergency call it should be identical to the Ateca, I reckon. Kids apparently like them sitting in the back although the third row seats aren't under it.

Also, funnily enough the glove box is not illuminated on the xcellence trim but it is cooled but there is a light inside it on the SE trim. All trims get the storage tray under front seat although I forgot to check that when test driving.

WHat gives?

No storage box if you have the electrics seats. I had a look although I was looking for something else :).

no electric seat on xcellence

Presume it was a first edition, it had a panoramic roof. I went into full teaching mode on the MOST audio connection (optical link) looking for the power amplifier which would be under the seat having seen the sub woofer. Then remembered that it didn't have the Plus so wouldn't have the advanced audio which isn't sold in the UK. It's in the German Tarraco spec as an option. Its the first time Seat have offered the outboard power amplifier but we're not getting it anyway :). Still may be better luck for Cupra driver in the future where the Plus is only offered, they might get to see the power amplifier.

So yes, why I had my head under the front seat. The memory seat on this one does remember positions unlike the Ateca one.

no just the first level excellence, panoroof paid for separately at £960
manual seats for me. happy with that to be honest as i dont change seats that much, passenger seat folds forward which is a bonus

I'd go for the storage area than the electric seats. Those people with back problems love them where they need to get the position exact if they are changing drivers. The Ateca without memory seats didn't allow that.

The wife and i test drove a 1.5 Tarraco and a 1.5 Ateca automatic. Idea was to get an feeling for the size and the engine in the Tarraco and to see if we liked an automatic in the Ateca as it's a similar size to what we have now. Wife was sold on the Tarraco but also the automatic, having never driven an automatic before. Problem was the Tarraco auto is only the 2 ltr. Well we've now ordered an Xcellence Lux with the 2.0 dsg auto in Atlantic blue and with the panoramic sunroof. Delivery towards the end of May.

I'm sure you will love it, I drove the Altea 1.9 DSG for 12 years and Ateca 2.0 DSG 2.3 years. Both DSGs are fine.

Thanks, good to hear as it'll be our 1st automatic and the 1.5 was so smooth in the Ateca I've got hope for the 2.0.
What's the status? Any news on delivery?

Mine is in Sheerness since Thursday and I have been assigned a reg number should be moved to the dealer asap now. I was told 21st latest but I think it will be end of next week.

I was told it was being built in the last week of April. Kinda on target for end of May but not heard anything for a couple of weeks.

Good news on yours.

I have to say, I've not seen any on the road yet ‍♂️

Glove box is illuminated, with LED, in fact every single bulb on the car is LED

Had mine for a week now, brilliant car, very impressed. When's yours coming @DallowCupra
Arrived at Sheerness last week. Waiting on a pick up date now but our Seat guy is on a leave until tomorrow. Hoping it's this weekend with any luck. Can't wait and still not seen one on the road, a lot of new Atecas but no Tarraco's.
Glad you're enjoying it and hope you're turning heads with yours.

Mighty impressed to be honest , more than I thought I would be, it's very refined and quiet, no rattles nor squeeks, nothing. Just the ticket for a family SUV. This is another league for SEAT. they are playing a good game here.

Phew. The wife hates a rattle and we've had one in our ix35 since new. Think that's the main thing she is looking forward to getting rid of.
Just seen your pics on another threat, looks good and liking the lights once lit up

IS it the TDI or TSI you ordered?
