Is there a quicker way to change the driving modes? I feel pressing the Cupra button and waiting for it to pop up takes a long time. Plus don't want to be reaching over and pressing the screen each time?

U can just press the button 3 times and it will go into cupra mode

It's more when I'm going on and off motorways just prefer to keep it in comfort on motorways and sport/Cupra for any other road.

Pull the stick back you are in sport, which is what you need 80% of the time for a squirt. But like others have said, 3 quick presses you are in Cupra

What are the differences in the modes specifically ?

I understand it’s the stiffness.throttle response and does each one stay in gear longer, before upshifting

Didn’t know if it was specifically written down anywhere exactly everything they do with stats etc how quicker is the throttle response etc

I've only got my car today but it seems in comfort and eco it just tries to get into the highest gears as soon a possible.

Think sport and Cupra are both the same for the gears just keeps them low and ready for when you hit the throttle, only difference is just how loud the soundaktor is. I kind of prefer the sound from sport.

Steering becomes heavier and if dsg it holds gears longer and with dcc the suspension is firmer too.

Cupra is the most aggressive setting. Sport isnt quite as aggressive but still holds gears longer

Is there exhaust flaps like the golf R,if not why is the exhaust apparently louder on Cupra mode

I might be totally wrong here and I'm sure I'll be told, but I don't think the Cupra has exhaust flaps.

Also the louder exhaust in Cupra mode may be the increased volume from the Soundaktor and has nothing to do with the exhaust at all.

I think the Soundaktor volume in Cupra is almost 100%. I'm not sure what the volume is in Sport and if it is off completely in Comfort.

My Soundaktor is at 0% in all modes thanks to Carista.

Do you prefer it with the soundaktor turned off?

It also allows you to put the Air Con into ECO Mode so you dont use power on the Air Con from memory

I use individual mode with the DCC set to sport, Steering to cupra, the diff to normal, engine is set to normal, aircon to eco.

This makes the car feel less lazy than comfort mode and still isnt that hard. If I want a burst of speed I just knock back on the gear stick.
