I use this mount

with a magnetic drop on the back of my iPhone XR mm battery add on case and it sits solid as a rock. Never moves even though the phone with the car is quite a weight.

Works like a treat.

The same "no entry" sign that shows on your initial earlier one, but you reposted I think with the pictures showing as attachments.

Quite frankly I'd believe anything is possible to be wrong with my up to date PC with Win10 though!

Looks like ill end up paying out for a brodit one, but for the 2 parts its quite expensive

Just get the brodit clip, then find a nice vent holder you like and stick it to the brodit. Its what I've done. Although when I decided I wanted a wireless charging one I had to cut the bracket off the back of that one as taking it apart didn't leave a flush back.

I've got the same with a different brand name. Like you say, it works a treat. I use it for traffic cam information as actually like the built in sat nav, but unfortunately owning a MY19 I'm stuck with no POI updates .
