The weather has been terrible so I've not even driven it properly or further than about 2 miles yet.

I know the Cupra pretty much comes with everything standard, the ad said it also had options:

Seat sound pack, winter pack and upgraded metallic paint.

What actually is the winter pack?

And I guess the sound is just upgraded or more speakers?

Winter pack is heated seats, heated water reservoir, heated windscreen spray nozzles and heated headlight spray nozzles.

Winter pack includes something fantastic, heated seats.

But it also includes...... headlamp washers ( and washer sensor ) so welcome, putting washer fluid in all the time.

Still don't know why they need headlamp washers other than using the tiny washer reservoir capacity, having said that, better than not knowing you've run out of washer fluid

Winter pack also has larger reservoir.

the sound pack, used to just be a sub in the lot, speakers unchanged.

The newer sound pack should be called beats, better speakers (lol) better sub in back and an amplifier under the seat to power it all.

If you have one of these in the boot under the floor mat then you have Seat Sound

Also if you look at the door speakers for the drivers and front passenger’s door you should have a small rectangular badge fitted saying “Seat Sound”.

I've not looked under there yet but I think the doors do have a silver bar saying Seat Sound on them, I'll check it out though!

The car has no original invoice with it to say the spec or anything, is there actually any way of knowing apart from just identifiying things in the car to what packs it has? Not really important but I'm just curious.

Crazy how much spec the car actually has though, I didn't even know it had a reverse camera until the first time I put it into reverse.

Also the coolant and oil temps show up on the screen behind the wheel, but on the infotainment screen where you get the G meter/oil/coolant the G meter works but the oil/coolant just show a dash?

There's a label in the boot I believe with the build spec that will tell you what the car has if you decode it (It's a load of numbers) .@Maypack can confirm this as I'm sure he's used the label before.
With regards to the oil/coolant temps, they display a dash below 50 degrees. Once above 50 they should start to show a figure.

The display on the readout inbetween the speedo and revs at full running temps shows the figures but still when you put the sport screen on the infotainment screen in the centre dash it just shows a dash on each one.

Choose a different dial then go back to the ones you want, may be OK then

If changing and going back doesn't work then it sounds like there is an issue. I have the digital cockpit where both screens have a dash until 50 and then read exactly the same value.

Another question, sorry

There are 2 dvd cases, Seat Navigation A5 - The nav is working on the car( I think) but there is no SD card in the case, does this matter or should I chase it up?

Also I have a Seat full link/apple-android case, is this standard as well?

The nav is awful so I wouldn't bother with it, andriod auto and apple car play are standard, so just use Google maps, also metallic paint is a free option

Its that turqoise/blue colour, Alor Blue I think its called?

Car was a good price and my P/X was a good price so I just went for it knowing the base spec was as good as I needed anyway.

I noticed the fake sound when I was messing with the settings and have been reading about the soundaktor.

So the exhaust doesn't have any valves so from outside on any setting the exhaust sounds the same?

Is there a setting on the individual to turn the fake sound off separately?

Yeah alor blue is correct, they stopped it in mid/late 2016, no valves in the exhaust, you can run with the engine in sport or comfort to shut the sound actuator up abit, as all the different engine modes does is effect the throttle response and sound actuator, best bet is to unplug it or turn it down with carista or something like that

Thanks for the info!

So I'm guessing this car was £31k-£32kish 4 years ago(65 plate). About £4.5k depreciation a year :scary:
