volume is about 40% lower when I play music through android auto instead of playing through bluetoot

My volume is always significantly lower when I play music through android auto compared to playing music through bluetooth normally any thoughts ?

Always is. You can usually adjust Bluetooth playback volume on the device (via Spotify etc). Not sure why but via cable it is quieter

Mine was doing this too. Found that the problem was auxiliary volume deep in the car's menus.

same with CD player, that is so quiet it may as well be turned off, I'm upgrading the entire audio system anyway so volume will not be a problem when finished!

Bluetooth plays at 100% volume
Radio for me is around 75-80% of that

But that has something to do with radio bandwidths or something or other

Not for individual sources (or at least that I could find). It was one volume control called (as far as I can remember) "auxiliary volume". Will see whether I can find it again when next in the car.
