what did you and your mk3 leon do today

Bought an unused 18" space saver on eBay for £35 to replace my 16" one, apart from being a similar diameter to my 17" wheels, I'm thinking of fitting Seat Sound sub in it, can't decide whether to make something to fit in the L/H wheel arch boot space instead.

First wash since I got it 10 days ago.

Decontaminated and sealed wheels. Usual snow foam, wash and then went around the car getting plenty of tar off (red car, almost four years old), before washing again and using aquacoat. Might do the same again and wax it next week.

Wasn't sure what I was going to find paint wise given it was the first wash and no doubt it's been polished up and filled to the eyeballs by the dealer, but wasn't anything too bad.

Followed on from yesterday and polished out a light scratch on the front near side bumper, almost got rid of one on the rear offside bumper (barely noticeable now but I didn't want to go too far), then pressure washed off, quick shampoo and dried off. Then I waxed it with some Poorboys red Natty's paste that I got a few years ago when I got my FR.

Racingline ones in gunmetal, havent been in the forum for a while so dont know if anyone else has gotten them yet, rears could do with spacing, but fronts look pretty good

Love these wheels, but they don;t fit over the Sub8 brakes without spacers at the front

Returned my Cupra 4drive today boo boo! Wasn’t supposed to go back until end of August but with both me and my wife working from home until September, we can’t justify paying for 2 cars.

If anyone wants a used 4drive, look out for Dk67xmt most of the miles are motorway, and it was only serviced 100 miles ago. Cracking car may be just missing a bit of excitement, perhaps I should have gone for front while drive and enjoying the scrabbling for grip!

After 3 months I finally passed the magic 1000 miles and got to give it some beans. I've not driven an electric car yet but boy does this car have some in gear acceleration. I have a supercharged jag which is brutal but this is so much lighter it sprints. Very big grin factor.
Now have to switch off the irritating soundaktor.

Throttle response and based on the noises my exhaust makes maybe anti lag or more fuel dumped into the system as you lift off the throttle to make it pop and bang more...
