Cupra Thermostat and temp senders

When I had my 07 Cupra (EA113) RR the guy said my temp gauge was not constant at 90c indicating a faulty thermostat. Read online that it could be this or the coolant temp sender. I've ordered the thermostat, but have read that there are two coolant senders on the engine, do I need to replace both and if so does anyone have the part numbers?

If you take a steady drive at say 50mph does the temp gauge drop?

Thats exactly what it is doing.

Any prefs on brand of thermostat? Looking at a Mahle one

I used a genuine vw thermostat don’t think it matters what brand you use.
