3D/4D plates now becoming illegal

I've got a set of 3d plates waiting to go on the next car. Guess they'll just have to go on the wall in the garage...

they never were technically legal
they are readable directly on, but introduce any angle to the viewing and they are less readable.

but hang on, i just read the link this isnt making flages illegal, if you have them already you can continue to do so., but driving abroad you will need to go back to the old style oval GB badge.
It doesnt mention 3D plates at all !?
