I'm coming from an Ibiza FR, which has a lot of spec as standard, but now looking into buying a Leon.

I cant help but notice that some of the things I get on the Ibiza aren't available on some Leon's for sale, so I was wondering out of the following list, what is standard on the Leon and what if any can be retrofitted with rough costs?

- Android auto (a must for me)
- Auto lights
- Auto wipers
- Ambient lighting
Also, does it come with eco/sport modes? I swear I saw something about it, but they don't mention it in some online reviews so I'm wondering if it's either on the newer cars or just doesn't come as standard

Thanks :)

Mine came with android auto and ambient lighting.

Didn’t have auto lights and wipers but I retrofitted for about £160. Can do it for less if you have VCDS or obdeleven or know someone with it.

It has the driving modes switch, to give eco and sport, but really this is pointless as the eco just makes a huge lag in throttle response. Mines been in sport mode for all the three years I've had it.

If you get the proper sensor and switch, you can code in the coming home/leaving home lights and all works with no issues.

Ah, winner. I've looked for this sort of thing before but could only find the list for the newest model.

Leonhook, cheers for that. At least I know I can retrofit it.
Can you use coming home lights with it retrofitted in? I presume you can, but don't really know much about the software

My 17 plate has a decent level of kit but it doesn't warn me if screen wash is low.
My 63 plate fr did.

My 19 plate FR has all those as standard although I could never get Android Auto working properly it kept freezing or disconnecting. Wasn't a deal breaker for me I just never used it.

I've had a 110hp 2016 Ibiza FR and I have a 150 hp 2016 Leon FR just now. WE also have a 2017 Leon FR.

The Ibiza is nippy around town because it's smaller. That's it. The Leons are better in every other respect.
It's funny, there are lots of little bits that I don't like about the ibiza. It's a good car and all, but it's the little things.

Things like the headlight design, there isn't grab handles for the passengers, no lights on the roof for rear passengers, you have to use your key to unlock the fuel cap, bottles won't fit in the front cup holders because they hit the dash etc etc.
The leon seems to fix all these issues and has more power. Can't wait to pick mine up!

Yes. You need to remember that the Leon is not only a larger car but a newer design on a more modern platform.

I thought the 16 Ibiza was a good car, better than the current Ibiza in my opinion, but the Leon is much more grown up. I always felt cramped in the Ibiza.
