hello
i am having a problem with my aircon the aircon has never worked since i got the car a few years ago so i diagnosed that the condenser was leaking
i replaced my condenser and drier last week and vacuum tested to make sure of no leaks then had system filled by kwik fit and have now noticed that the ac clutch is engaged all the time and my battery is going flat I've read that a stuck ac relay can cause this problem does the mk1 leon cupra 52 plate have this relay if so where can i find it or is there another thing that could cause this problem

thanks

Are the fans running continuously?
Pressure sensor switch?
Pure guess by the way.

the fans only run when i turn on the aircon switch also if i disconnect the plug from the compressor then the clutch disengages so it is not seized when you put plug back on the clutch engages after a few seconds

Scan it with vcds. I don't think there is an A/C relay, as far as i know the signal goes straight to the clutch on the aircon

my laptop is down at the moment so cannot scan with vcds but i scanned with supervag2 no codes detected I've ordered a new pressure switch should be here tomorrow see if that sorts it out

Fingers crossed, although i would have thought if the pressure switch was faulty then you wouldn't be able to engage the clutch, not the other way round.
